Triple-S is seeking an experienced underwriter to assess the risk of insuring commercial businesses, determine premiums, and approve or decline applications within delegated authority. You will coordinate with the department on projects and relate to Producers to address service needs.
The role requires strong analytical skills and knowledge in pricing and underwriting for P&C programs, with CIC/CISR being preferable.

This role involves assessing the risk of insuring commercial businesses, determining the appropriate premiums, and making decisions about whether to approve or decline insurance applications according to delegated authority limit and based on Company Underwriting Guidelines. Conducts planning efforts within your department, whether for day-to-day operational situations or assigned projects or to coordinate multiple resources within your department or division. Responsible for influencing decisions through fundamental recommendations or opinions. Maintain a direct relationship with Producers through immediate and effective attention to the service needs they present.
Bachelor's degree with 1 year or more of related experience in pricing and underwriting, financial arrangements and P&C programs. Or Associate Degree with 3 years or more of related experience in pricing and underwriting, financial arrangements and P&C programs. Or 5 years or more of related experience in pricing and underwriting, financial arrangements, and P&C programs. Strong analysis and knowledge in Commercial Lines processes is highly preferred.
