Job summary

Ansay & Associates seeks a Commercial Lines Trainer to develop, deliver, and improve training for our Commercial Lines teams, acting as a subject matter expert on coverages, workflows, and EPIC training with a strong onboarding focus.

The role collaborates with Regional Leadership and cross-functional partners to ensure standard adoption, high-quality service, and smooth integration of acquired offices across Wisconsin locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Thorough understanding of Commercial Lines insurance products, coverages, and servicing workflows.
• Active insurance license in accordance with state requirements.
• At least one professional designation (CISR, CIC, CRM, or similar) or willingness to obtain.
• Self-starter with initiative and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong attention to detail and active listening skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and regions.
• Customer-focused with commitment to service excellence.
• Team-oriented with a solution-driven attitude.

Responsibilities

• Train and onboard Commercial Lines Account Managers, Account Executives, and Producers on core responsibilities, workflows, coverage fundamentals, and best practices.
• Serve as primary onboarding contact for new hires and newly integrated teams.
• Design and lead training programs including live sessions, webinars, and lunch-and-learn events.
• Provide ongoing coaching, audits, and feedback in partnership with leadership.
• Lead EPIC system integration and training for acquisitions.
• Identify workflow gaps and training opportunities through servicing and auditing.
• Recommend improvements to reduce E&O exposure and enhance service quality.
• Maintain and manage an assigned book of Commercial Lines business and educate clients on coverage.
