Job summary

Brown & Brown in Tallahassee, FL seeks a Commercial Lines Technical Assistant to support the commercial lines department, gaining technical knowledge of policy processes and carrier interactions.

The role covers clerical tasks, data entry, endorsements checking, submissions, loss runs, and document management, with opportunities to contribute to proposals and client service.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with policy, and endorsement checking for commercial P&C accounts.
• Assist with the submission process, including claims analysis, updating accords, and supplemental apps.
• Assist with the preparation of proposals, and account overviews.
• Assist with loss runs, MVR orders, and certificates of insurance.
• Perform Clerical functions including, but not limited to scanning, proofreading, and photocopying documents.
• Assist with entering data into applications as needed.
• Review, file, and assigning documents/tasks into ImageRight.
• Accessing various carrier sites to download policy docs.
• Back-up the front desk as needed.
• Special Projects as needed.

Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Technical Assistant to join our growing team in Tallahassee, FL.

This role will assist in commercial lines department in order to gain technical knowledge and learn the processes and procedures of Brown & Brown. Primary duties may include general clerical functions and data entry. Other additional projects may be assigned as needed.
