Qualifications

• 5-7 years of commercial lines experience preferred.
• 2-4 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Property and Casualty license preferred.
• 4 year degree preferred.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Commercial Lines Department and supervise staff to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develop and monitor department strategies and budgets with management.
• Conduct performance evaluations and deliver training programs.
• Maintain morale and resolve staff issues.
• Meetings to inform and train staff on procedures and market developments.
• Monitor workflow and monthly department reports.
• Promote team environment and recognize excellence.
• Assist with new producer training in commercial lines.
• Develop policies with Branch Operations Manager and conduct monthly audits.
• Evaluate and select commercial companies, maintain carrier relationships.
• Assist producers with client communication and proposals.
• Ensure accurate processing to avoid E&O issues.
• Stay informed on market availability and share knowledge.
• Participate in seminars to maintain licenses.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
