Job summary

RealREPP is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Marketing Manager to lead its centralized Commercial Lines Marketing team in Irvine. You will oversee Marketing Analysts while remaining actively involved in carrier strategy, complex account placement, and new business marketing, partnering with Sales, Service, and Operations to drive agency growth.

• Experience working within an independent insurance agency environment
• Leadership, mentoring, or team lead experience preferred
• Applied Epic experience is a plus

Overview

Our client, a well-established independent insurance brokerage, is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Marketing Manager to lead its centralized Commercial Lines Marketing team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of Commercial Lines insurance and wants to move into a leadership role. You'll oversee a team of experienced Marketing Analysts while remaining actively involved in carrier strategy, complex account placement, and new business marketing. The position partners closely with Sales, Service, and Operations leadership to support agency growth and mentor the next generation of Commercial Lines professionals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys carrier relationships, strategic marketing, coaching others, and solving complex placement challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Commercial Lines Marketing professionals.
• Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous professional development.

Marketing & Carrier Placement

• Develop placement strategies for both new business and renewal opportunities.

Carrier Relationships

• Monitor carrier performance and assist with overall market strategy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Producers, Service teams, and Operations leadership.
• Support proposal development and complex account strategy.
• Assist in developing newer Commercial Risk Advisors through technical guidance and mentorship.
• Participate in strategic initiatives designed to improve client service and agency growth.

Qualifications

• Active California Property & Casualty License
• 7+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience
• Strong background in Commercial Lines marketing, carrier placement, quoting, or account management
• Experience working within an independent insurance agency environment
• Leadership, mentoring, or team lead experience preferred
• Applied Epic experience is a plus
