Varney Agency Inc. in Auburn, ME is seeking motivated Commercial Lines Insurance Agents for our Small Business team. This in-office role focuses on policy servicing, endorsements, renewals, and client interactions.

You will handle high-volume transactions, identify coverage gaps, and work with carriers to ensure accurate, timely service while delivering exceptional client support. Candidates should have a Maine Property & Casualty license or be able to obtain one and bring prior Commercial Lines

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, professional service to a large volume of commercial insurance clients.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and renewals accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding coverage, billing, claims, and policy servicing needs.
• Review client accounts and identify coverage gaps, exposures, and opportunities for additional protection.
• Work closely with insurance carriers to obtain information, resolve issues, and facilitate policy transactions.
• Maintain accurate and organized client records within the agency management system.
• Prioritize and manage multiple requests, deadlines, and service activities while maintaining high quality standards.
• Support account retention efforts through proactive communication and relationship management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure service standards and client expectations are consistently met.
• Meet productivity, quality, and turnaround time expectations in a fast-paced servicing environment.
