Job summary

Acrisure, LLC is seeking a Placement Specialist for Commercial Lines Small/Mid in Naples, FL. You will manage new business and renewal processes, analyze exposure and financials, and prepare submissions to carriers. The role requires a P&C license and a track record in small/mid commercial placements.

You will work closely with carriers to negotiate terms, craft proposals, and maintain strong market relationships while ensuring timely, accurate submissions and exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of insurance industry experience, focusing on small/mid commercial account placements.
• Knowledge of Southeast US commercial insurance marketplace, with emphasis on Florida.
• Current Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
• Professional designations such as CRM, CISR, CIC, AAI, ARM, or CPCU preferred or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Maintain timeline and process for new business and renewal, including exposure analysis and submission preparation.
• Develop market strategies and determine where to market based on risk and lines of coverage.
• Exercise independent judgment in placement with alternative carriers balancing client needs and market conditions.
• Review policies and contracts and offer recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare submissions with ACORD applications, loss summaries, exposure schedules, and prospect profiles.
• Maintain relationships with carrier markets and stay informed on appetites and trends.
