Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Commercial Lines Placement Specialist to join our Southeast US team (Florida focus) to manage and execute new business and renewal processes for small commercial accounts. You will oversee timelines, perform exposure and financial analysis, prepare quote specifications, and negotiate coverage terms.

Responsibilities include market strategy development, carrier submissions, and presenting proposals while maintaining strong client service and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in insurance industry, focus on small/mid commercial placements
• P&C license required
• Designations such as CRM/CISR/CIC/AAI/CPCU preferred or actively pursued

Responsibilities

• Manage timelines and processes for new business and renewals in small commercial accounts
• Develop market strategies based on risk characteristics and coverage lines
• Exercise independent judgment in placement with carriers
• Review policies and recommend improvements
• Prepare and submit property and casualty submissions and proposals
• Maintain relationships with carriers and understand market appetites
• Handle confidential information with discretion
• Use rating tools and carrier systems to assist in quoting and proposals
