Acrisure is seeking a Commercial Lines Placement Specialist for the Southeast US with emphasis on Florida. The role includes managing new business and renewal processes, exposure analysis, and proposal presentations, while working to place accounts with suitable carriers.

Candidates should have 3+ years in insurance, a valid P& C license, and familiarity with carrier markets and placement strategies. This on-site role offers strong collaboration and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent phone etiquette, written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of insurance carrier markets and placement strategies.
• Strong critical thinking, financial analysis, and negotiation skills with the ability to analyze complex market data and influence placement outcomes.
• Knowledge of Southeast US commercial insurance marketplace – Florida emphasis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Experience with Applied/EPIC agency management system preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to document accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team while delivering customer service.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance markets and coverages.
• Ability to develop and deliver professional proposal presentation documents.

Responsibilities

• Timeline & Process Management for new business and renewal processes including exposure analysis and proposal presentation.
• Market Strategy: develop marketing strategies based on risk, lines of coverage, and market analysis.
• Independent judgment in placement of accounts with alternative carriers.
• Review policies and make recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare submissions with ACORD applications, loss summaries, and exposure schedules.
• Maintain relationships with carriers and stay informed on market trends.
• Handle confidential information.
• Use rating tools and carrier systems to assist in quoting and proposals.
