Job summary

Insurica's Norman branch is seeking a Commercial Lines Operations Manager who will lead the commercial lines support function, plan activities, and supervise staff to ensure top-tier service. The role combines operational leadership with account executive duties as needed to service client accounts.

You will partner with the Branch Leader and producers, evaluate markets, manage workflows, and uphold quality standards while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of rating procedures, coverage, and industry operations.
• Understanding of insurance markets and underwriting procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management systems.
• Ability to lead and develop staff in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing strategies to support the branch action plan; implement and monitor established strategies, coordinating with the Branch Leader.
• Provide direction in evaluating and selecting the proper commercial companies for the agency; maintain relationships with appropriate company representatives and stay informed on market availability.
• Provide supervision to all assigned colleagues, including coaching, training, and disciplinary actions.
• Work directly with the Branch Leader, providing updates on workflow, staff, and client issues.
• Develop support workflows and procedures and monitor implementation; perform service audits and address problem areas with staff.
• Conduct meetings to inform, obtain input, and train staff on procedures and current developments.
• Respond to client calls and keep producers informed; handle difficult situations with staff where warranted.
• Market business, contact clients, create proposals, and service accounts with the producer; keep producers informed of activities.
