Job summary

HUB International in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Commercial Lines Claims Consultant to join our Commercial Lines team with preferred proximity to Irwin, Coraopolis, or Erie offices. You will advocate for clients, interpret policies, and negotiate settlements to protect outcomes and support growth.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Producers and Account Managers, ongoing client communication, and staying current with industry changes.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of commercial claims handling or advocacy experience.
• Ability to interpret policy language and analyze coverage.
• Proven negotiation experience with insurers and counsel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong client service.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as client claims advocate and guide on process, timelines, and outcomes.
• Review policy language, analyze coverage, and propose solutions.
• Negotiate with insurers, adjusters, and counsel for fair settlements.
• Manage end-to-end claims process with regular reviews and data integrity.
• Document conversations and maintain electronic claim filing.
• Collaborate with Producers and Account Managers on claims and sales support.
• Monitor industry changes and advise clients in response.
