Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Branch Operations Manager - Commercial Lines to lead operations at a California branch. This hybrid role requires 1 day in-office at IOA locations in Aliso Viejo, Glendale, Ontario, San Diego, or Santa Barbara, with flexible onsite expectations within a 50-mile radius.

You will manage branch P&L, supervise the operations team, drive strategic plans, oversee budgeting, performance, HR processes, and customer service while also participating in producer/agency

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience with deep knowledge
• 2+ years of management experience
• Active property & casualty licensing
• Exceptional Account Management skills, spending 50% of time managing a book of business
• Outstanding communication, people management, and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities and workflow of the branch team.
• Drive annual strategic and tactical plans for the branch.
• Manage branch P&L, control costs and achieve financial goals.
• Understand and manage the annual budget.
• Communicate leadership vision/mission for the branch.
• Build and manage a qualified operations team.
• Participate in recruitment and evaluate merger/acquisition opportunities.
• Ensure HR processes and policies are followed.
• Establish and monitor productivity, quality, and service standards.
• Encourage growth and development of personnel.
