Job summary

The Jonus Group is seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager in Springfield, MO to support clients and account managers. You will help with account servicing, processing endorsements, renewals, and maintaining client records in the agency management system.

Ideal candidates have experience in commercial lines, knowledge of EPIC or AMS360, strong communication, organization, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance industry practices, policies, and products.
• Licensing such as Property & Casualty or ability to obtain within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial lines accounts.
• Support Account Managers with daily account maintenance, including processing endorsements, policy changes, and renewals.
• Address client inquiries via phone or email and provide resolutions for general insurance-related questions.
• Maintain accurate and updated client records in the agency management system.
• Prepare and review client documents such as certificates of insurance, proposals, and summaries.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, endorsements, and policy changes as needed.
• Aid in account reviews, remarketing efforts, and identifying potential coverage gaps.
• Stay informed about industry updates and carrier product offerings to enhance client service.
