Job summary

Correll Insurance Group in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager to support the Account Management team with new and existing accounts, ensure accurate data, and deliver professional service to clients.

Responsibilities include processing applications, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes, preparing renewal kits and proposals, and maintaining detailed policy files. The role requires strong computer skills and a positive, service-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 1 year in insurance clerical/customer service preferred.
• Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Proficient with AMS360, ImageRight, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Enter details for new business applications as needed.
• Setup Templates for Certificates of Insurance.
• Process change requests and endorsements.
• Handle information requests from carriers.
• Prepare renewal kits and collect updated info.
• Assist with renewal summaries and proposals.
• Assist with loss run requests.
• Set up insured’s policy booklet.
• Update policies and claims for changes.
• Process and record new policies and claims.
• Verify data on applications and policies.
• Maintain files for each policyholder.
• Communicate with insured/agent about status.
• Support Commercial Lines team with duties.
