Job summary

Jonus Group in Florida is seeking a detail-oriented SBU Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a collaborative commercial lines team. This role focuses on A–Z servicing for small business accounts, including new business, renewals, endorsements, and client inquiries.

The ideal candidate has a P&C license and at least 1 year of commercial lines experience, with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required.
• Minimum 1 year in commercial lines account management.
• Experience servicing small business accounts preferred.
• Familiarity with contractors, nonprofits, and habitational risks.
• Proficiency with Applied EPIC or similar AMS preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide A–Z servicing for small business commercial lines accounts (new business, renewals, endorsements, ongoing policy maintenance).
• Manage a diverse portfolio including nonprofits, contractors, habitational risks, and condo/Homeowners associations.
• Handle inbound inquiries, service requests, and new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with producers and internal staff for efficient account management and client satisfaction.
• Quote, market, and process new business and renewal policies.
• Review coverage and identify ways to enhance protection for clients.
• Communicate with carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate client records using Applied EPIC or similar AMS.
• Monitor renewal timelines and proactively communicate with clients.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and account growth.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining strong relationships with clients, carriers, and producers.
• Participate in onboarding and training to learn agency procedures.
