Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join its growing insurance team in Florida. You will manage a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts, support producers, coordinate renewals, and maintain strong carrier relationships.

The ideal candidate is organized, takes ownership, handles multiple priorities, and delivers exceptional service to clients. A Florida license, 5+ years of experience, and solid knowledge of carriers are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Florida 2-20 General Lines insurance license required.
• 5+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and policy administration.
• Experience managing renewals, marketing, quoting, and policy servicing.
• Strong understanding of carrier underwriting requirements and market conditions.
• Experience with an agency management system; Applied EPIC preferred.
• Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Client & Account Management: serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned commercial clients and maintain long-term relationships.
• Renewals & Marketing: manage renewal process, review coverage and loss history, obtain quotes, and present options to clients and producers.
• New Business Support: assist producers with submissions, gather underwriting information, and coordinate quoting and binding.
• Policy & Account Administration: process endorsements, changes, cancellations, audits, certificates, and invoices; maintain accurate documentation.
• Carrier & Team Relationships: build relationships with carriers and underwriters and stay current on market conditions.
