Job summary

Jonus Group in Alabama is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to oversee an established book of business in an in-office setting. You will serve as the primary contact for clients, carriers, and internal teams, handling renewals, proposals, and underwriting information to strengthen coverage for commercial clients.

Ideal candidates hold an active Property & Casualty license, have Commercial Lines experience, and are highly organized with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License.
• Commercial Lines experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and relationship management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with AMS360, ImageRight, Vertafore products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service an established book of Commercial Lines accounts
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders
• Build strong, long-term relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service
• Coordinate renewals, remarketing efforts, endorsements, policy changes, and account maintenance
• Gather underwriting information and prepare applications, proposals, and renewal documentation
• Conduct account reviews and identify opportunities to strengthen coverage protection
• Maintain accurate policy records and documentation within agency management systems
• Collaborate closely with producers and internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience
