Job summary

United Insurance is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to maintain high client service levels and retain accounts while pursuing new business in Maine. You will work closely with clients, the agency, and the underwriter to ensure accurate coverage and timely communications.

Requirements include a State P&C license, a High School diploma, and 1–5 years of experience. Proficiency in EPIC and MS Office is preferred, along with a professional, proactive approach to client relationships.

Qualifications

• State P&C license required; 1-5 years’ experience preferred.
• High School diploma/equivalent required.
• Designation(s) preferred, not required.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Self-motivated with professional demeanor.
• Proficient in MS Office; EPIC experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and client relations.
• Positive, friendly, and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong client relationships and coordinate with agency and underwriter.
• Solicit new business when opportunities arise and renewals.
• Process inquiries (ID cards, binder, BOR, cancellations, reinstatements).
• Prepare and present new business and renewal proposals.
• Document client activity in EPIC with follow-up as needed.
• Collaborate with producers on new business and renewals.
• Assist with loss runs and carrier communications.
• Support accounting with agency billed accounts per standards.
