Risman Insurance Agencies is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing commercial insurance team. This role focuses on servicing a book of commercial clients while delivering exceptional customer service and supporting long-term account growth.

Headquartered in Medford, MA, with offices in Tewksbury, Danvers, and Burlington, employees may work from Medford or Tewksbury. After onboarding, one work-from-home day per week is available.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service a book of existing commercial lines accounts.
• Handle policy renewals, endorsements, billing inquiries, certificates, and claims support.
• Prepare insurance submissions, rate policies, and complete applications.
• Review accounts for cross-selling and account rounding opportunities.
• Prepare and present quotes and coverage options to clients and prospects.
• Communicate with direct and wholesale insurance carriers.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the agency management system (AMS360).
• Provide proactive, professional, and responsive service to clients.
• Collaborate with producers and internal team members to support account retention and growth.

Requirements

• Active Property & Casualty license preferred
• Minimum 3 years of commercial lines insurance experience preferred
• Experience with AMS360 or similar agency management system preferred
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages and workflows
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional, positive demeanor with clients, carriers, and coworkers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
