Job summary

The George Mauricio Agency, a Farmers Insurance office, seeks a Commercial Lines Account Manager to grow and service a book of business insurance accounts. You will quote, market, and bind policies, manage renewals, and educate clients on coverage options in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Ideal candidates are licensed P&C professionals with 2+ years of commercial insurance experience and strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is REQUIRED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial/business insurance.
• Experience quoting and servicing policies such as General Liability, BOP, Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Auto, Umbrella.
• Proficiency with agency management systems and insurance quoting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service a book of commercial insurance accounts with accuracy and professionalism.
• Quote, market, and bind new commercial insurance policies.
• Handle renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and policy changes efficiently.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carrier partners.
• Educate clients on coverage details, exclusions, and policy options to ensure informed decisions.
• Identify and act on upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
• Provide timely, responsive, and high-quality communication to clients and internal team members.
• Collaborate with producers and team members to support overall agency growth and retention goals.
