Job summary

RealREPP is partnering with a long-established independent insurance agency in the greater Redding area to hire an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager. This role will manage a diverse book of commercial accounts and serve as the primary contact for clients, carriers, and partners.

The position requires Commercial Lines insurance experience, a CA Property & Casualty license, and strong knowledge of GL, Property, Commercial Auto, WC, Umbrella, and BOP coverages.

Qualifications

• Commercial Lines experience within an independent insurance agency is required.
• Active California Property & Casualty license is required.
• Solid knowledge of GL, Property, Commercial Auto, WC, Umbrella and BOP coverages.
• Experience with surplus lines and invoicing processes is highly preferred.
• Strong client service, communication, organization and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance clients and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers.
• Manage the renewal process, including gathering underwriting information, analyzing exposures, remarketing accounts, reviewing quotes, and coordinating placement.
• Advise clients on coverage needs and respond to questions regarding policies, coverage, billing, and other account matters.
• Handle a variety of Commercial Lines coverages, including General Liability, Property, Commercial Auto, Workers’ Compensation, Umbrella, and BOP.
• Process and review policies, endorsements, audits, ACORD forms, and other account documentation for accuracy.
• Coordinate quoting, binding, invoicing, premium finance, and other ongoing account servicing needs.
• Maintain organized account records and stay current on carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and relevant industry changes.
