We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting in business growth and retention. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and client-focused individual to contribute to our continued success in the industry.

Responsibilities
  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  2. Evaluate clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
  3. Prepare and present insurance proposals and renewals to clients.
  4. Coordinate policy changes, endorsements, and claims, and ensure timely and accurate processing.
  5. Analyze and review policy documents and endorsements for accuracy.
  6. Stay informed about industry trends, market changes, and insurance products to provide clients with the most relevant advice and solutions.
  7. Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue business growth opportunities.
  8. Assist in the development and implementation of business strategies to achieve account retention and growth goals.
  9. Adhere to industry regulations and internal policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Qualifications
  1. Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager, with expertise in managing accounts ranging from $0-$100k, $100k-$500k, and $500k+.
  2. Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and risk management.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  4. Proficient in insurance industry software and Microsoft Office applications.
  5. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  7. Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
  8. Relevant insurance designations such as AAI, CIC, or CRM are preferred.
Day-to-day Activities
  1. Communicating with clients and underwriters to address inquiries and resolve issues.
  2. Developing and presenting insurance proposals and renewal options.
  3. Reviewing policy documents, endorsements, and claims for accuracy.
  4. Collaborating with the sales team to identify and pursue business growth opportunities.
  5. Adhering to industry regulations and internal policies.
  6. Keeping abreast of industry trends and changes to ensure clients receive up-to-date advice and solutions.
