We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting in business growth and retention. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Evaluate clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals and renewals to clients.
- Coordinate policy changes, endorsements, and claims, and ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Analyze and review policy documents and endorsements for accuracy.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market changes, and insurance products to provide clients with the most relevant advice and solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue business growth opportunities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of business strategies to achieve account retention and growth goals.
- Adhere to industry regulations and internal policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager, with expertise in managing accounts ranging from $0-$100k, $100k-$500k, and $500k+.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and risk management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficient in insurance industry software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
- Relevant insurance designations such as AAI, CIC, or CRM are preferred.
Day-to-day Activities
- Communicating with clients and underwriters to address inquiries and resolve issues.
- Developing and presenting insurance proposals and renewal options.
- Reviewing policy documents, endorsements, and claims for accuracy.
- Collaborating with the sales team to identify and pursue business growth opportunities.
- Adhering to industry regulations and internal policies.
