Overview

Job title: Commercial Lines Account Manager. Location: Denver, Colorado. This role is with a client in the insurance brokerage industry, focused on managing a mid-market book of business across diverse industries, delivering service and innovative risk management solutions.

Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Manage and service a mid-market book of commercial property and casualty clients, ensuring retention and satisfaction.
• Prepare renewals, market submissions, proposals, and endorsements in partnership with producers and carriers.
• Analyze client exposures and recommend tailored coverage solutions.
• Review policies, contracts, and certificates for accuracy and compliance.
• Address daily servicing needs, including coverage inquiries, policy changes, billing issues, and claims support.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records within Epic (Applied Systems).
• Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and internal team members.

Qualifications

• Must-Have Skills: Minimum 3+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience in a brokerage or agency setting.
• Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance lines, including General Liability, Auto, Workers' Compensation, Umbrella, and Property.
• Experience managing mid-market accounts with revenues ranging from $25K–$250K.
• Proficiency in Epic (Applied Systems) or similar agency management systems.
• Active Property & Casualty license in the state of Colorado (or ability to obtain).
• Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience handling multi-state accounts across diverse industries.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills for renewals.
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, client-first attitude.
• Familiarity with accounts in various industry verticals.
