We are seeking a customer service-driven & highly motivated professional with demonstratedcustomer service and sales insurance skills. Your primary responsibility will beto service acommercial insurance book of businessand cross-selling to our existing commercial clients.

Full-time remote, hybrid, or in-office is available for this position.

Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a pleasant phone personality. The most successful candidate will be goal-oriented, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a fast-paced peer-to-peerwork environment. Someone who takes ownership of their book of business in servicing and working with the client. A current and valid Insurance license is required, as is previous insurance experience.

Responsibilities

• Market account renewals and negotiate with company underwriters; present customers with a marketing summary and the best option.
• Utilize the Agency Management system for efficient and relevant workflow.
• Process client service requests and submit information to the company, including insurance documents, proposals, and applications for new/renewal business.
• Review new business, renewals, cancellations, and endorsements; process and transmit to clients.
• Verify the accuracy of premium transactions issued by companies, including commission differences.
• Prepare proposals; maintain complete copies of policies.
• Invoicing in accordance with company standards.
• Review monthly renewals up to 120 days in advance of expiration.
• Participate in formal account reviews; assist in account rounding.
• Maintain knowledge of all lines of coverage.
• Follow agency procedures and insurance company regulations.
• Function as the primary client service contact.
• Maintain the accuracy of files and entries.
• Maintain awareness of market conditions, changes, and current legislation.
• Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by management.
