Job summary

Noguchi & Associates, Inc. – an Ori-gen Family Company located in Hawaii is seeking an experienced Account Executive for Commercial Lines.

The role focuses on identifying client needs, gathering information on business operations, and coordinating with carriers to place insurance programs with high-level expertise. Key duties include client pre-qualification, educating clients on policy coverage, and supporting producers with proposals, applications, and renewals.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Active Hawaii Property & Casualty License.
• Minimum 8 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience.
• Experience managing a commercial lines book of business.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages and policy structures.
• Experience marketing accounts and working directly with insurance carriers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with middle-market commercial accounts.
• Knowledge of commercial underwriting principles and rating methodologies.
• Experience reviewing contracts and insurance requirements.
• Proficiency with agency management systems and carrier portals.

Responsibilities

• Identify client needs and gather information on client operations, exposures, and loss history.
• Collaborate with carriers in placing client programs with top-line insurance products.
• Support producers to meet business goals and prepare proposals and applications.
• Coordinate with producers to obtain client signatures and track quotations and policies.
• Prepare binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and related items for clients.
• Assist in renewals, re-marketing, and renewal proposals with producers.
