A leading insurance brokerage firm in Portland, Oregon is looking for an experienced professional to manage complex Commercial Lines insurance accounts. Responsibilities include providing proactive support, conducting market analyses, and negotiating with carriers. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience, holds a Property & Casualty insurance license, and is adept in communications. Qualifications

• Must hold a Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Industry designation such as ARM, CIC, CPCU strongly preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal instruction.

Responsibilities

• Manage 20 to 30 large and/or complex Commercial Lines insurance accounts.
• Provide proactive, personalized support to assigned clients.
• Responsible for marketing and placement of client insurance renewals.
• Complex negotiation with carriers on behalf of clients.
• Champion client cross-selling initiatives and develop customer accounts.

Skills

10+ years experience in a Commercial Lines agency

Expert understanding of Property & Casualty insurance

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office

Education

College degree preferred
