Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager Associate for Commercial Lines in California. The role supports the account team, underwriters, and producers, with a focus on policy administration, billing, renewals, and service quality. Remote work is available for CA residents, with a hybrid onsite expectation near Los Angeles.

A CA P&C license is required. You will manage renewals, facilitate submissions, and maintain accuracy in agency systems while delivering proactive client

Qualifications

• 7+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry
• Active property & casualty licensing (P&C) required
• Professional designation preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and/or assigned group of accounts
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis
• Manage policy expirations and renewals
• Support renewal process: client research, underwriting information, submissions, coverages, pricing, proposals, and issuance
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms for data accuracy
• Monitor activity and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Assist in reviewing contracts to ensure proper coverages
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances
• Communicate workload status and issues to the account team
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership in line with IOA values
