Job summary

North Dallas Bank & Trust Co. is seeking a Commercial Lending Assistant to support lenders in developing and maintaining client relationships across commercial real estate, C&I and consumer loans. The role involves documentation, underwriting coordination, and closing support.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years in commercial lending, solid knowledge of loan documentation and compliance, and strong Excel skills. On-site Plano, TX location with exposure to a full lending cycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial lending or loan assistant experience
• Exposure to C&I, CRE, consumer and small business lending
• Familiarity with loan documentation, underwriting packages, and closing coordination
• Strong understanding of loan documentation, compliance requirements and lending regulations
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook/Teams
• Notary registration or willingness to obtain notary licensing

Responsibilities

• Assist lenders in developing, originating, servicing and maintaining loan customer relationships.
• Review loan files and assist with underwriting, documentation and closing tasks.
• Coordinate closings with title companies and customers; prepare disclosures and loan documents.
• Support review of collateral, exemptions and regulatory compliance; contact customers as needed.
• Maintain organized loan files and HMDA reporting; monitor maturities and past-due accounts
• Provide exceptional customer service and promote bank products and services.
