Job summary

Encore Bank in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Lending Specialist to coordinate loan doc preparation, execution, and closing processes. You will liaise with clients, insurance agents, title companies, and attorneys while supporting Commercial Relationship Managers and the Regional President.

This role requires accurate loan processing, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
At least two years of clerical, administrative support or general office experience.
At least one year of loan processing experience.
Experience in Commercial Lending preferred.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Results driven and customer focused.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills.

Responsibilities

Handles ongoing loan requests, including new loans, renewals, modifications, and extensions.
Works directly with Loan Operations so that loans are processed accurately and efficiently.
Works with customers to obtain required loan documentation.
Provides administrative and sales support to Relationship Managers and Regional President as needed.
Assists in servicing active loans, monitor past due reports and maturing loan reports.
Assists with the processing of loan payments, payoffs, and advances.
Maintains knowledge of bank loan policy and federal and state banking regulations, as needed.
