Job summary

PointBank is seeking a detail-oriented Lending Assistant in Denton, Texas to support our commercial lenders throughout the loan lifecycle. The role emphasizes handling important details, meeting deadlines, assisting customers, and collaborating with lenders to move transactions forward.

Responsibilities include serving as the primary admin contact, gathering documents, coordinating due diligence, and helping with loan closing and booking.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary administrative contact for assigned commercial lenders.
• Provide responsive, professional assistance to current and prospective borrowers.
• Open loan requests and assemble complete application packages.
• Collect financial statements, tax returns, entity documents, rent rolls, contracts, project budgets, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate appraisals, environmental reports, flood determinations, title work, surveys, insurance documents, lien searches, and other due-diligence items.
• Help prepare approved loans for closing and booking.
• Assist customers with payments, automatic transfers, interest calculations, insurance reports, and address changes.
• Assist customers with construction-loan draws.
• Monitor loan maturities, past-due payments, ticklers, and exception reports.
• Contact customers to obtain updated financial information
