Peoples Bank in Munster, IN, is seeking a Commercial Lender to originate, underwrite, and close commercial loans while managing a diverse loan portfolio. The role includes servicing loan customers, cross-selling bank products, and supporting community involvement in a fast-paced banking environment.

The candidate will review financials, structure and price loans, and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory guidelines.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
3–5 years in banking, Credit or Lending preferred.
Ability to extract and analyze data to identify exceptions.
Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
Knowledge of bank software: Word, Excel, Microsoft Office, nCino, Salesforce and pricing software.

Mansioni

Call on existing customers to retain and expand relationships.
Develop new customers and prospects to achieve individual goals.
Interview prospective customers to understand their loan request and business.
Provide financial consultation and analysis to assist customers in determining their borrowing capacity.
Gather financial statements, analyze the loan request and inspect collateral.
Underwrite loan files through evaluation of appraisals, title insurance, credit reports and other criteria.
Approve loans within lending limits and make recommendations for approval.
Maintain past dues and timely collection of updated financial information.
