Commercial Lending Operations Business Analyst

Base pay range

$60.00/hr - $70.00/hr

Sr. Business Analyst - Commercial Lending Operations

• Toronto or Chicago Location – Hybrid (1x a week)
• 12 month contract (potential for extension)

Responsibilities:

· Supports the development and execution of Lending Operations' Multi-Year Automation and Digitalization Strategy

· Directly leading Process Analysis (Base Data Analysis, Product Analysis, Process Gap Analysis, Cost/Benefit Analysis, Management Infrastructure and Reporting), Project Execution and Delivery, and Change Management (Stakeholder Analysis, Communication Strategy, Training Plan).

· Investigates and identifies strategies to optimize business operations, services and inform business decisions.

· Defines business requirements to inform technology build/ operations by sourcing and analyzing relevant data

· Reviewing and documenting business processes, while collaborating with business stakeholders.

· Sources business and market data to evaluate the effect of projects on business results.

· Assesses the efficiency and the performance of processes and technology to deliver expected business results.

· Identifies and analyzes malfunctions, system workflow, and troubleshoots issues raised by business.

Requirements

· 5-10+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst within a banking environment

· Experience within Commercial Lending Operations.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• 5-10+ years prior experience leading and facilitating requirements gathering sessions and documentation
• 5-10+ years prior experience in reporting and documentation
• 5-10+ years prior experience working in large projects / programs (i.e. Class A/B) related and not limited to change management, delivering technology solutions to satisfy business needs or systems migration
• 5-10+ years prior experience leading UAT for large initiatives from start to finish
