Job summary

Mutual Bancorp and its Subsidiaries in Leominster, MA is seeking a Commercial Loan Specialist I to support Commercial Loan Officers by preparing and coordinating lending documentation within regulatory guidelines and delivering outstanding customer service.

You will work with Loan Servicing and Deposit Operations, manage loan pipelines, collect missing documents, run credit reports, and help monitor taxes and escrow setups while building strong relationships across banking departments.

Qualifications

• 2 years administrative or customer service experience, preferably in financial services.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process Lines of Credit and create loan documents; run credit reports.
• Process Term Loans; document terms; update system; follow up with customers on missing documents.
• Provide administrative duties for Commercial Lending: correspondence, loan advances, scanning, mail, supplies, monitoring overdrafts.
• Maintain financial statement tracking and database reports.
• Manage pipeline and track applications; trigger regulatory components and UCC filings.
• Coordinate with lenders to collect missing documentation and monitor past-due real estate taxes and escrows.
• Support customer service, aid retention and referrals.
• Act as liaison between lenders, customers and internal departments (Loan Servicing, Deposit Operations, Banking Centers).
• Prepare loan documentation for review by lenders (notes, security agreements, etc.).
• Adhere to regulatory guidelines and stay updated on loan policies.
