Job summary

East Cambridge Savings Bank in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Commercial Loan Coordinator to support the lending team with processing and documentation for commercial loans. You'll manage applications, coordinate with appraisers, attorneys, and other parties to ensure timely closings.

The role requires 1–3 years of banking experience or a related degree with banking exposure, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years banking experience or a related degree with 1 year banking exposure.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with LoanVantage or similar loan origination system.
• Ability to multitask while following guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Receives and tracks applications; monitors appraisals, 21E reports, and financials.
• Files new and renewal loan files; verifies vesting, legal descriptions, signatures.
• Prepares loan documents for closings and ensures compliance with credit terms.
• Supports CIP/CDD Beneficial Ownership requirements and liaises with lenders and attorneys.
• Coordinates construction draws and related documentation.
