First Guaranty Bank in New Orleans is seeking a Commercial Lender to grow customer relationships and lead loan, deposit, and cash management solutions with limited credit authority. You will prospect, interview applicants, analyze financial data, and manage an expanding loan portfolio in a fast-paced community bank environment.

The ideal candidate has 3 years lending experience, strong sales and communication skills, and a high school diploma (college degree preferred).

Qualifications

• 3 years lending experience or related management experience
• Formal credit training preferred
• Strong sales skills and ability to develop relationships
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Time management
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate customer relationships (new and existing)
• Prospect for new leads and opportunities
• Meet with clients to determine loan, deposit, and cash management needs
• Conduct credit checks and on-site visits; manage credit process
• Grow loan portfolio and achieve production, deposit, and referral goals
• Cross-sell deposits, cash management, and services
• Attend to outside calling activity and document in CRM program
• Represent First Guaranty Bank in the community
• Adhere to BSA/AML and all bank policies
