The Agency is seeking an experienced Commercial Lender to support growth in its community banking division in the McKinney area. The role focuses on developing new business relationships, originating commercial loans, and building a portfolio while maintaining credit quality.

The lender will target CRE and C&I opportunities in the DFW market, analyze financial statements, and collaborate with clients to grow deposits alongside lending opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial lending experience in a banking environment.
• Proven success in business development and portfolio growth.
• Strong network within the Dallas-Fort Worth market.
• Experience originating and managing CRE and C&I lending relationships.
• Strong financial analysis and credit underwriting skills.
• Solid understanding of regulatory compliance and lending policies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to build a loan portfolio from scratch and develop long-term client relationships.

• Participate in community engagement and business development activities in the DFW area.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding financing needs and opportunities.
• Be active and involved in the local business community.
