Job summary

Watts Water Technologies is launching a three‑year Commercial Leadership Rotational Program designed to develop the next generation of engineers and product leaders. You will rotate through Engineering, Product Management, and Applications Engineering, gaining exposure to design, manufacturing, and customer applications.

The program is hybrid and based at our North Andover, MA headquarters, with cross‑functional exposure and leadership training.

Each rotation will expose you to a different stage of the product lifecycle. You’ll gain experience in product design, manufacturing, product strategy, and customer applications. You’ll contribute to meaningful business initiatives and learn from experienced leaders. You’ll also work with cross‑functional teams across the company. Through these experiences, you’ll strengthen your technical expertise and commercial understanding. You’ll also develop the leadership skills needed to grow your career at Watts. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Across the three rotations, you’ll build experience in the following areas:

Applications Engineering
  • Support the development of customer solutions and technical quotations
  • Participate in customer visits and field experiences alongside Sales and Engineering teams
  • Translate customer insights into product solutions and potential business opportunities
  • Partner with Sales to support customer engagement and technical product positioning
  • Help develop and deliver training for customers and manufacturer representatives, including Level 1 training programs
Product Engineering
  • Gain practical experience in factory and manufacturing environments while supporting sustaining engineering initiatives
  • Contribute to New Product Development (NPD) projects in collaboration with Research and Development teams
  • Partner with technical support teams to gather and analyze Voice of Customer (VOC) insights.
  • Develop knowledge of product design, engineering systems, and technical problem‑solving
Product Management
  • Build product knowledge through training and portfolio management activities
  • Support customer field engagement and market research efforts
  • Help coordinate projects across Engineering, Sales, Operations, and other functional teams
  • Conduct financial and commercial analysis, including pricing and profitability support
  • Contribute to product strategy, roadmap development, and business case evaluation
Program Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across Engineering, Product Management, Sales, and Operations
  • Analyze technical data and customer feedback to support decision‑making
  • Communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations clearly and effectively
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in products, processes, and customer experience
  • Contribute to additional projects that support your professional development and broader business objectives

Work Location and Travel Requirements:

This hybrid position is based primarily in North Andover, Massachusetts. When assigned to North Andover, you’ll work onsite Monday through Wednesday, with the option to work remotely Thursday and Friday. Your program assignments will also include time at the Franklin, New Hampshire, location. Approximately 10%–25% travel is expected for customer visits, field assignments, and training. You must be willing to rotate across locations and functions during the program.

Working Conditions:
