Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a PM Technician for commercial kitchen equipment in the Greater Bay Area, CA (Hayward). You will perform preventive maintenance, install and repair refrigeration, ovens, fryers, and beverage equipment, starting from home each day.

The role offers on-the-job and formal training, CFESA/EPA certifications, a company vehicle, fuel card, and a strong benefits package including 401k and PTO. Travel and on-call availability are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to be on call or travel as needed.
• CFESA or EPA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leave from home each morning to customer sites to perform performance checks on commercial kitchen equipment.
• Complete installations, removals, preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Train customer staff on proper cleaning and daily maintenance of equipment.
• Identify operating challenges that lead to equipment failure in restaurants, hotels, hospitals, etc.
• Attend manufacturer trainings to obtain additional licenses/certifications.
