AmeriServe: Commercial Kitchen and HVAC/R Solutions is seeking a skilled Preventative Maintenance Technician to service commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC/R and related systems. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, safety, and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced field environment.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of hands-on repair experience, read schematics, hold EPA 608/CFESA certifications if possible, and possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• 0–2 years repairing commercial kitchen equipment.
• Able to read schematics and manuals.
• EPA 608 and CFESA certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Pass background screening.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance of gas, electric, water, and steam kitchen equipment.
• Service refrigeration, HVAC, and related systems with accuracy.
• Explain repairs clearly and minimize downtime for customers.
• Maintain detailed service records and submit reports promptly.
• Manage tools, inventory, and truck stock; reorder as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends through training.
