Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician in New Orleans, LA. The role involves servicing commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and related equipment for restaurant and hospitality clients.

You will demonstrate mechanical aptitude, diagnose issues, read schematics, and collaborate with manufacturers and the Technical Assistance Group to complete repairs and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Willingness to participate in emergency on-call rotation including nights and weekends.
• Occasional overnight travel as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to service commercial cooking equipment and related systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment including cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing.
• Read diagrams and schematics to determine repair steps.
• Coordinate with manufacturers for parts identification.
• Install ordered parts and perform on-site service per policy.
• Maintain vehicle, inventory, and on-site paperwork accurately.
