Job summary

CONES Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support the Iowa City and Cedar Rapids corridor. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking, beverage, and refrigeration equipment in the field, with a focus on safety and customer service.

You’ll train on our equipment and earn CFESA Master Technician credentials through on-the-clock courses. A valid Iowa Mechanical License and EPA certification are preferred; the top pay goes to technicians with direct relevant

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Trade school HVAC/Refrigeration or electrical training required.
CFESA certification or eligibility preferred.
Iowa Mechanical License and EPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional field customer service to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking, beverage, and refrigeration equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance and respond to emergency service calls.
Build relationships with customers, vendors, and manufacturers.
Identify additional equipment needs and repair opportunities for follow-up.
Order parts and complete required paperwork.
Collect payment on site for COD customers.
Maintain your service vehicle.
Participate in after-hours and weekend call duty after gaining experience.
