Job summary

CONES Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to cover the Quad Cities area. You will diagnose and repair commercial kitchen, beverage, and refrigeration equipment, with training provided on our equipment and systems.

The role offers a stable schedule and opportunities for CFESA certification and career growth. New hires receive onboarding and OSHA safety training, with paid CFESA and manufacturer training on the clock, plus a company van after proving competency.

Qualifications

• Trade school graduates with Iowa Mechanical License or eligibility.
• Universal EPA certification or willingness to obtain it soon after hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent with trade training in HVAC/refrigeration/electrical.
• CFESA certification and manufacturer training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional field service to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking, beverage, and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and respond to emergency service calls.
• Build relationships with customers, vendors, and manufacturers.
• Identify additional equipment needs and repair opportunities for follow-up.
• Order parts and complete required paperwork.
• Collect payment on site for COD customers.
• Maintain your service vehicle and tools.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend call duty.
