Job summary

CONES Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to cover the Iowa City and Cedar Rapids corridor. The role focuses on diagnosing electrical faults, troubleshooting sealed systems, and servicing commercial kitchen equipment. Training is provided; prior CFESA or HVAC experience is valued.

You will earn with a clear pay range based on experience and licenses, and you will be home at night rather than on the road. A robust benefits package accompanies the position.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Iowa Mechanical License and EPA certification required.
• CFESA certification or training beneficial; willingness to obtain CFESA certification.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial cooking, beverage, and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to service calls.
• Build relationships with customers, vendors, and manufacturers.
• Log parts and paperwork; handle COD payments as needed.
• Maintain service van and participate in after-hours/on-call rotation when required.
