Job summary

General Parts Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel to restaurant locations and diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment, including hot-side appliances, refrigeration, and light HVAC systems.

The role requires safe driving, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently. EPA certification is required for refrigeration techs, with opportunities for CFESA training and overtime pay where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial kitchen, refrigeration, or HVAC experience preferred.
• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen.
• Valid Driver's License and Driving Record that meets safety standards.
• EPA Certification required for Refrigeration Techs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook; iPad experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment at restaurant locations.
• Travel to sites in a company vehicle; provide prompt, reliable service.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and management; document repairs.
• Ensure minimal downtime for restaurant operations.
