Job summary

pt-holdings is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of commercial foodservice gear for restaurants, schools, hotels, and healthcare facilities.

You will troubleshoot electrical, gas, refrigeration, and plumbing issues; perform preventative maintenance; keep service records; and travel with a company-provided vehicle to client sites. PTO and competitive pay. Industry certifications welcome.

Qualifications

Previous experience repairing commercial kitchen or foodservice equipment
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of gas, electrical, refrigeration, or plumbing systems is a plus
Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
A valid driver’s license and good driving record
Ability to work independently and manage a service schedule
Professional appearance and a positive attitude

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of commercial foodservice equipment
Work with restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels, and institutions to keep kitchens operating safely
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, gas, refrigeration, and plumbing-related issues
Repair and maintain ovens, fryers, griddles, steamers, ranges, dishwashers, and refrigeration equipment
Perform preventative maintenance and service calls
Document service activities and communicate recommendations to customers
Maintain service vehicle, tools, and equipment in good condition
