Nextech is hiring a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Technician in Fort Myers, FL. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of commercial kitchen equipment, including refrigeration, working independently with strong team support. The role emphasizes customer experience and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Industry certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, repair, installation, and maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment including refrigeration.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues and repair to manufacturer specs.
• Coordinate daily schedules with dispatch and communicate delays professionally.
• Maintain accurate electronic work orders and documentation on an iPad.
• Answer customer questions, identify additional service needs, and deliver exceptional service.
• Participate in rotating on-call shifts for emergency service.
• Keep vehicle, tools, and inventory in top condition and attend ongoing training.
• Report safety concerns and identify potential new business opportunities.
