Job summary

Smart Care is a national repair and service provider for commercial foodservice, refrigeration, and cold storage equipment. You will service equipment for restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and other businesses throughout Hampton Roads, applying troubleshooting skills to diagnose and fix issues while delivering high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or technical military service.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to participate in evening/weekend on-call rotation.
• Travel to sites may be required; ability to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, warewashing, and specialty food service equipment.
• Use diagrams, schematics, and practical reasoning to solve equipment problems.
• Build relationships with restaurant and hospitality managers and recommend solutions to prevent failures.
• Manage daily service schedule, prioritize calls, and work independently while staying connected with the team.
• Participate in emergency on-call rotation, including nights and weekends.
• Earn quarterly bonuses by meeting efficiency and productivity goals.
