Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to service restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and other businesses across Hampton Roads. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain cooking, refrigeration, warewashing, and specialty equipment using diagrams and schematics, while building trusted relationships with managers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or technical military service.
• A valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Willingness to participate in the evening and weekend emergency on-call rotation.
• Occasional overnight travel as assigned.
• Authorization to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, warewashing, and specialty food service equipment.
• Use diagrams, schematics, and practical approaches to solve equipment problems.
• Build relationships with restaurant and hospitality managers and recommend solutions to prevent failures.
• Manage daily service schedule, prioritize calls, and work independently while staying connected with the team.
• Participate in an emergency on-call rotation, including nights and weekends.
• Earn quarterly bonuses by meeting efficiency and productivity goals.
