Job summary

Tech24's Pronto division is hiring an experienced Foodservice Technician to service hot-side commercial kitchen equipment across Tappan, NY and surrounding areas. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain fryers, ovens, grills, steamers, and warmers for restaurants and foodservice operators.

You’ll work with a company vehicle, provided gas card, uniforms, and phone, plus a comprehensive benefits package. This role emphasizes safety, on-time service, and strong customer communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial hot-side / food equipment repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions.
• EPA Universal certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, etc.).
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe, efficient equipment operations.
• Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system.
• Clearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers.
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked.
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Represents the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities.
