Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician in Phoenix. The role partners with restaurant managers to service cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and related equipment, and involves reading diagrams, diagnosing issues, and performing on-site repairs.

The position includes on-the-job and formal training, potential CFESA certifications, and a company vehicle with a fuel card. On-call nights/weekends and occasional overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Willingness and ability to be involved with the emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends.
• Availability for occasional overnight travel as assigned.
• Immigration sponsorship not provided for this role.

Responsibilities

• Partner with restaurant and hospitality managers to offer service solutions for commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and other equipment.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, and ability to read diagrams and schematics.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen equipment including cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing.
• Communicate with manufacturers to help with diagnoses and parts identification.
• Consult with the Technical Assistance Group for on-site support.
• Install parts ordered for customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Promote other services provided by Smart Care when needed.
• Produce accurate work orders, time reporting, receipts, and truck stock inventory.
• Maintain safe work practices and a clean service vehicle and inventory.
• Maintain productivity levels per company standards.
